There's a few ways to get online on 3G mobile broadband. You can access mobile broadband with our Vodem or Mobile Connect Card, hop online and check out websites straight from your mobile, or use your phone as a modem. Whichever way you choose, mobile broadband lets you take your world with you. Wherever you've got coverage, you're online.

Double your data
Our 3G broadband Everyday and Pro plans come with bundle insurance. If you go over your included data allowance, we'll automatically double your data for just $10 more. You don't need to do a thing, we'll double you data automatically if you need it.
If you hit your limit again, extra data costs 50c per MB.
Phone as a modem
"Phone as a modem" means connecting your data-capable mobile to your PC or laptop and using it as your online link to the internet or your company network.
Things you need to know
- If you don't have a monthly data plan, you'll automatically have the casual daily rate applied if you use data on your mobile.
- When you travel overseas and use roaming data, different rates apply. Check out the roaming rates here
- Billing increments on monthly plans is in 10KB blocks, with a minimum 10KB charge
- On the casual daily rate, if you use less than $1 worth in a day, we'll only charge for what you used
- Unused data is not carried over to the next month
- Use of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is prohibited
- Telemetry devices, which provide automatic measurement and transmission of data over the Vodafone data network, are excluded
Some data usage does not come out of your daily or monthly allowance
- Viewing the Vodafone Live! homepage, and watching SKY Mobile TV does not use up your daily or monthly data. Most other pages and downloads on Vodafone Live come out of your daily or monthly data allowance
- PXT and Video PXT are charged at standard rates and do not use your data allowance

If you don't have a monthly plan, you'll automatically have the casual daily rate available whenever you want to hop online from your mobile.
To get onto a monthly plan, visit any Vodafone retail store . They'll help you choose the best plan, and sort you out with everything you need to get online from your mobile or your computer.
